Spinit is the name, and spinning is the game. That’s the moto of this casino, which touts itself as something of a slot machine specialist. Spinit is very new to the online gaming scene, having been founded in 2016 as part of the Genesis Global group of casinos, who also run popular sites like Casino Cruise.

Spinit Casino consider themselves an online casino made ‘by players, for players’, but how does this relative newcomer match up to the more established names out there?

Bonuses and Promotions

Spinit Casino has, like many of its peers, opted for an impressive headline figure for its new customer promotion, with a few free spins thrown in on top to sweeten the deal.

Here are the details:

£1000 welcome bonus & 200 free spins

  • Spinit will match your first 4 deposits up to the following amounts:
    • 1st deposit – 100% up to £200
    • 2nd deposit – 50% up to £200
    • 3rd deposit – 25% up to £300
    • 4th deposit – 25% up to £300
  • Bonus must be wagered 40x before withdrawal
  • Minimum £10 per deposit
  • Game weightings apply
  • Free spins will be awarded 20 per day over a 10-day period, and expire after 24 hours
  • Maximum withdrawal from free spins is £100

Like many bonuses which look so good on paper, Spinit’s offering isn’t quite so good as it first appears. Sure, a bonus of up to £1000 is nice, but the hoops you have to jump through to see a return are exacting to say the least.

On top of that, most players won’t be depositing the £3000 required to access the full £1000 bonus (after matched percentages are taken into account), and even if they do, 40x playthrough is fairly steep. Even worse, players will need to meet this requirement within 14 days of receiving their bonus otherwise bonus funds will be forfeit.

Then we have the free spins.

In general, free spins are a great addition to a new customer promotion, but with winnings limited to just £100, as well as the drip-feeding of spins over ten days, it’s hard to get excited.

This isn’t a terrible promotion – we like to see multiple deposits rewarded, for example – but overall it suffers from the same shortcomings as many new customer promotions, in that it feels designed to lure players in without actually offering much true value.

spinit casino review

Any casino founded by a group of enthusiasts who love slot games ought to be well-endowed in the game department, and we’re pleased to report that Spinit does not disappoint.

In fact, there are over 1300 games on offer here from some top-drawer providers, including Microgaming and NetEnt among several others. In short, you’re looking at a mind-blowing library with games to suit all tastes. As an added bonus, all the games available at Spinit are playable instantly online, meaning there are no pesky downloads to worry about.

There is one drawback, however. Spinit have designed their website firmly with mobile in mind, which is great for those who like to play on the go, but it does make navigation a little tricky at times when playing at home with a desktop or laptop computer.

Because browsing 1300 casino games isn’t the easiest when all you have is a side-scrolling display that interferes with a browser scrollbar and not a whole lot of search options to choose from. There were also a few other little niggles that tripped us up when trying to navigate the site away from our mobile devices.

Still, when you actually manage to find the games you’re looking for, you’re sure to have a great time at Spinit Casino.

Some of our favourite games include:

  • Book of the Dead
  • Starburst
  • Gonzo’s Quest

You’ll also find a nice range or progressive slots to choose from, meaning those seeking the biggest of big bucks will have plenty of options, including:

  • Mega Fortune
  • Hall of Gods
  • Mega Moolah

Despite the ‘About Us’ section of the Spinit website implying there are only slots on offer at this casino, you’ll actually find a wide variety of other games to choose from.

On the table games front you’ll find a plethora of the usual suspects like Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette. In fact, there are several varieties of pretty much any table game you’d care to mention on offer if table games are your thing.

Prefer live games?

Spinit Casino have you covered on that front, too. We counted over 60 (yes, 60!) live-dealer games to choose from, provided by Evolution Gaming. Much like the rest of the library Spinit have put together, it’s an incredibly impressive selection.

And mobile?

As we’ve mentioned, Spinit is a casino very much geared towards the mobile market, and the experience on mobile devices doesn’t disappoint. The app, available on Android and Apple devices, looks great and is very easy to use. Full marks here.

There’s a decent selection of payment methods to choose from at Spinit Casino.

Deposits can be made by:

Visa (debit / credit), Mastercard, Maestro, Entropay, Paysafe card, Skrill, Neteller, EcoPayz

And withdrawals by:

Visa (debit / credit), Mastecard, Skrill, Neteller, EcoPayz, Bank Transfer

As for timelines:

EWallets are quickest (0-1 hour), and bank transfers / credit and debit cards are slowest (3-4 days). There’s also a pending period of 24 hours to be aware of. We’d like to see a couple of days shaved off the card withdrawal times here, as 3-4 days is certainly longer than average.

Any small print to be aware of?

There’s a single-transaction withdrawal limit of $5000, while the weekly / monthly withdrawal limits sit at $5500 and $22000 respectively, though withdrawals for VIPs are higher.

spinit casino

Spinit Casino offers the standard selection of support options, though oddly enough live chat support is not available 24/7 – a feature that comes as standard almost everywhere else these days.

You can reach Spinit via:

Email, phone, live chat.

We’ve seen a mixed bag of reports in terms of users’ experience with Spinit support. A main area of concern seems to be around processing times for document verification, so it’s perhaps best to budget a little extra time when withdrawing your first winnings if you do choose to play here.

spinit review

Despite being relatively new to the online gaming scene, Spinit Casino does a lot of things right. The website is glossy and vibrant, and the mobile experience, in particular, is top notch.

But what really impressed us here is the incredible library of games Spinit have put together. We’re talking multiple providers, blockbuster titles, and endless variety. Even the hardest to please gamers are sure to find something to like.

The one drawback is that navigating this colossal selection isn’t the easiest, particularly if you’re accessing the site from a desktop device. Spinit was built for mobile, and at times the desktop experience suffers as a result. It’s a shame, as the overall presentation is, as we’ve said, very nice.

With most people still accessing online casinos at home this is likely to be a pretty big issue for many.

As for the signup bonus, it ticks a lot of boxes, with multiple deposits matched and free spins thrown in, but it ultimately falls flat in the small print, which strips away almost all the value that might have been available. It’s a problem that’s endemic in the industry, but it’s still frustrating to see at an otherwise promising new casino.

Withdrawal speeds and document processing are slower than we’d like them to be too, but there are worse offenders out there.

So, what’s the verdict?

Overall, we can certainly recommend Spinit Casino. There’s room for improvement in several areas – most notably with a few web design issues that hamper the gaming experience on desktop – but the incredible selection of games alone is absolutely worth a look.

What We Loved

  • Jaw-dropping game selection
  • Nice presentation
  • Excellent mobile experience

What We Didn’t Like

  • Some issues with desktop interface
  • Relatively slow withdrawal times
  • High wow-factor yet low-value new customer promotion
Spinit Casino Review 2019
