Spin Palace Casino has been around a long while, having launched way back in 2001. A well-known name in online gaming, this casino prides itself on having one of the highest average payouts in the industry.

But how does Spin Palace compare with the competition?

Bonuses and Promotions

Spin Palace’s new-customer bonuses aren’t the most attractive we’ve ever seen, despite the promotion covering multiple deposits.

Take a look at the offer here:

Up to 1000 ‘currency units’ for new players

  • Spin Palace will match your first three deposits up to the following amounts:
    • 1st deposit – 100% match up to 250 currency units
    • 2nd deposit – 25% match up to 300 currency units
    • 3rd deposit – 50% match up to 450 currency units
  • A currency unit is defined as a single unit of currency for the country in which the player is based (so for UK players, 1 currency unit = £1)
  • You must wager any winnings 50x in order to cash out
  • Discretionary clause: withdrawals of winnings from bonuses are limited up to 6x the value of the original deposit

There’s quite a lot of value to be had here, but only if you’re prepared to put up a lot of cash on your first few deposits.

The ‘discretionary’ clause is also a major concern. Why?

Spin Palace can (if they so choose), snip any big wins down to only 6x the value of the original deposit.

Spin Palace presents games from only one software provider, but since it’s Microgaming, easily one of the industry’s best, this can be forgiven.

All in there are over 400 games to choose from, including giants such as:

  • Mega Moolah
  • Kathmandu
  • Break da Bank

There are enough quality games to meet most needs here, including a decent range of progressive slots offering potentially massive payouts.

How massive?

Well, one lucky player won close to €7 million playing Mega Moolah at Spin Palace in April 2016. It’s one of the biggest wins in the game’s history, and you can read more about it here.

As you would expect, there are also plenty of table games to choose from, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Keno, Baccarat, Sic Bo and many others.

One thing we liked here was the quality on show, with graphics and overall presentation of a really high standard.

There is a withdrawal limit of $4000 per month, which could limit interest in the site for high-rollers (though we should add that this limit does not apply to progressive jackpots).

Withdrawal times vary depending on the method:

EWallets are quickest (24-48 hours), and cheques are slowest (14-21 days).

Spin Palace Casino has stood the test of time, serving players for close to two decades.

A wide selection of games from the ever-excellent Microgaming makes for a solid experience, and the website layout is great.

There’s top-notch presentation on show here across the board, from game graphics to UI.

Coupled with some excellent payout rates on popular games and some seriously big wins on the site in the last few years, there’s a lot to like here.

The new customer promotion, however, is fairly underwhelming. Why?

Well, not only is there only a single promotion available, but due to Spin Palace only matching a percentage of your deposits (at least for the second and third), you’ll need to fork over a fair wad of cash to make the most of it.

The VIP scheme has come in for some criticism from regular players, too:

Like many VIP programmes, Spin Palace require you to meet certain milestones in order to progress through a tier system. Unfortunately, in this case, that means a long, slow grind, with rewards often not worth the wait.

Anything else to be aware of?

Actually, yes.

We have seen an increase in the number of complaints levelled at Spin Palace in recent times, with a rather large chunk of them still remaining unresolved. These mostly relate to issues with withdrawals, and it’s a worrying development for such a well-known brand.

There are also quite a large number of restricted territories, including some key markets like the UK, USA, France, Spain, Denmark and the Netherlands.

Taking all this into account, would we recommend Spin Palace Casino?

There’s certainly a fair amount to like, but we are a little concerned about the recent rise in complaints.

Overall, Spin Palace may be worth a look, but we advise you to be cautious, to begin with. If you do want to check them out, we recommend testing the waters with some smaller transactions before committing too much of your hard-earned cash.

What We Loved

  • Solid selection of games from a fantastic provider in Microgaming
  • Great UI and presentation across the board
  • Reported payout rates are impressive

What We Didn’t Like

  • Reports of unresolved complaints a concern
  • New customer bonus is underwhelming
  • VIP scheme not rewarding
  • Large number of restricted territories
Spin Palace Review
  • Overall - 6.2/10

While the site is a joy to navigate and there are some great games to choose from, our rating here has taken a big hit due to underwhelming sign-up bonuses and more importantly reports of a worrying number of unresolved complaints. Therefore, our rating of SpinPalace is justified.
